My stay at the resort was a bit of a mixed bag. While the location by the lake is stunning and the views are fantastic, I found the room to be smaller than expected, and it definitely did not feel luxurious. The service left much to be desired, particularly during a special occasion where the staff's attitude was disappointing. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, although the natural beauty of the area will always call me back.
Rooms
5.0
The room was incredibly tiny, making it hard to move around comfortably, and certainly not what I would consider a luxury accommodation.
Service
5.0
The reception staff's attitude was frustrating, especially during a significant family occasion. They were unhelpful regarding a late check-out that we needed, which was disappointing.
Location
9.0
The resort is beautifully located right by the lake, which offered breathtaking views.
Dining
5.0
The restaurant's food was average, almost reminiscent of the '90s, and we had trouble finding suitable dining times, opting to dining out instead.
Facilities

While the resort itself seemed to offer adequate facilities, the experience was overshadowed by service issues and the room size.

Our stay at the resort was quite mixed. While the views of Lake Tekapo were stunning and the dining experience was top-notch, the service left much to be desired. We encountered issues with room readiness upon check-in and a significant lapse in communication with housekeeping. Overall, the beauty of the location and the quality of the meals almost made up for the shortcomings in service and room experience.
Rooms
5.0
The room was basic and lacked soundproofing. We experienced noisy neighbors and unexpected interruptions, which made for an uncomfortable stay.
Service

Check-in was disorganized, and the staff's responses to our concerns were not satisfactory. We felt overlooked during our stay.

Dining
10.0
Dining at the restaurant was a highlight of our stay, with exquisite meals and attentive service from our waiter.
Facilities

The facilities were decent but nothing out of the ordinary. The layout was a bit confusing because of the separate buildings.

My stay was quite disappointing overall. While the resort is located in a beautiful area, the rooms were far from satisfactory, showing signs of neglect and not delivering the comfort expected for the price paid. The service fell short, particularly in housekeeping, which tarnished what could have been a pleasant getaway. It feels as though the resort is coasting on its location without focusing on quality.
Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious but lacked basic cleanliness and maintenance. We found worn socks in the sheets, and the air conditioning had an unpleasant odor.
Service
5.0
Service was lacking, with delayed responses to our complaints about room cleanliness, and the laundry took longer than expected to return.
Location
8.0
The location is stunning, perched in a beautiful mountain area, which is certainly a highlight.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was decent, featuring freshly baked croissants, though the service was noticeably understaffed.
Facilities

The resort has beautiful mountain view rooms with great amenities, making it a nice spot for relaxation. However, the service leaves much to be desired, especially with housekeeping being understaffed and unresponsive. Dining was chaotic and the internet fees are excessive. Overall, while the rooms and views are lovely, the lack of service quality and dining organization detracted from the experience.

The resort is in a nice area that allows for great views and access to activities around the region, making it convenient for outdoor adventures.
Dining

Dining was quite chaotic, especially during breakfast, with not enough tables for the number of guests. This made the experience less enjoyable.
Facilities

While the resort has good amenities in the room, the overall facilities were not sufficient for a true resort experience, lacking things like a pool.
